The experience

Stand in the spray of Europe's biggest waterfall, then wander a town painted by hand.

  • See Europe's biggest waterfall and medieval Stein am Rhein in one afternoon from Zurich
  • Feel the spray above the Rhine Falls as 700,000 litres a second thunder past
  • Stroll Stein am Rhein with your guide, past painted façades and half-timbered houses
  • Ride an optional boat right into the churning basin of the falls (April to October)

Swap the city for the thunder of Europe's biggest waterfall and the calm of a medieval river town, all in one afternoon from Zurich, with not a single train, ticket or timetable for you to sort out.
